Cleaning The Deck With Pressure Washing

Cleaning the deck of your house may seem like an easy task, but in truth, this type of job is usually better left to the professionals, especially if you will be doing it manually without any cleaning equipment. The first thing you need to do when cleaning the deck of your home is to prepare it for pressure washing. A well-prepared deck will look great once it has been fully cleaned. The wood on your deck should be sealed appropriately. If it has an old sealer, this should be peeled off first before a new sealer is applied. Having a properly sealed deck will have the advantage of not having to do annual deck cleaning. A good way of checking if a stripper is not required is by sprinkling a few drops of water on the wood.
